Our goals at Peters Construction are shared with yours. Quality is number one. To reach this end, Greg likes to be on the job as much as possible each day. In this way we can offer extreme hands on detailing work with craftsmen and still maintain an accurate and efficient office operation. Over the last 26 years, through extrordinairly stability in terms of business operation and labor turnover, we have developed a no nonsense strategy which prioritizes quality, efficiency and cost accounting.
Hard work is the foundation upon which have built Peters Construction. We encourage projects which are on difficult sites or require complicated logistics and equipment (tools and equipment). A challenge is always welcome, and we will meet it with our combined decades of experience in the construction industry. Our typical projects range from small crafts and remodels to multi-million dollar residences. Commercial projects interest us greatly as Peters Construction continues to broaden and diversify.
Over the years we have developed a set of principles and a building credo we adhere to. We approach every project in the same way. Start on solid ground, lay it out right, bring it up plumb and square and finally exercise tenacious attention to the details. This recipe has kept our structures beautiful and stable for years and our clients satisfied from groundbreak to long after they move in. We are equally adept working with architects or without, local clients or people wanting a primary or secondary home here.
What makes us unique from other builders can be summed up easily. Although "Build Green" is a relatively new term it has been a crucial part of our thinking since the beginning. Every project receives some degree of evaluation process seeking ways to make the building less wasteful, more efficient - simply more "Green". Peters construction has constructed homes with passive and indirect solar, envelope walls, insulated block foundation and several insulated panel (SIP) homes. Every project receives extra attention concerning windows and their placement, overhangs, air infiltration and fresh air exchanges. Secondly, having the right equipment on the job when needed profoundly affects worker production. Our large heavy lift crane and out forklift translate into not only time savings but greatly improve how our workers expend precious energy. We save their physical strength for building the structure, not moving its pieces.
